ISTITUTO PALERMO FILM
During Summer of 2004, by the initiative of Leoluca Orlando and Andre Bendocchi-Alves, a group of filmmakers met and founded the ISTITUTO PALERMO FILM. The aim of this institute is to promote film culture and film economy of Palermo and Sicily as well as of the Mediterranean region.
In collaboration with Italian and international institutions and production companies an international film festival and a international film school will be founded. Furthermore a film center for retrospectives and exhibitions will be established, that will become a forum for filmmakers worldwide.
