MEDITERRANEO FILM FESTIVAL
The geographical location of Sicily and the historical importance of Palermo predestine this city to be the host of an international film festival with a central accent on the cinematographical oeuvres from the Mediterranean neighbourhood.
Every year in November, an international film festival will take place in Palermo lasting two weeks. The main focus will be on feature films, television dramas and documentary films. The MEDITERRANEO FILM FESTIVAL will lay particular emphasis on European and Mediterranean productions. The jury will comprise personalities from the Italian and international film branch.
On November 19th, 2004, the official presentation of the MEDITERRANEO FILM FESTIVAL 2005 took place at the Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes in Palermo, Sicily.
