The international film school, CINESCUOLA PALERMO FILM, offers filmmakers and film students an opportunity to realise their ideas in workshops under the supervision of renowned international film professionals. Particular emphasis will be laid on dramaturgy.

A close collaboration with other international film schools will promote an exchange of students and lecturers.

Every workshop at CINESCUOLA PALERMO FILM covers a special theme. The concept is to invite a corresponding team of world-famous filmmakers as mentors. These teams, in general comprising two persons, have already been working together successfully in several projects in the past.

Four workshops will be held each year. The first workshop will take place in March 2005 and will concentrate on the work flow between the director and the editor.
